Hyundai i20 N Lines

The All-new Hyundai i20 N Line is all set launch in September

Many carmakers have a history of releasing a sport or performance version of their best-selling models. Hyundai appears to be planning similar experiments with the i20 N Line. The i20 N Line will be reveal on August 24 and introduced in September 2021 with aggressive exterior style, interiors featuring N Line features, and an upgraded suspension system.

The single-piece front grille will remain visible on the front fascia. The bumpers, on the other hand, could be modified for a more aggressive and sharper look than the standard model. Larger wheels with a new alloy wheel design, twin exhaust pipes, and ‘N Line’ badging on the inside and out could also be highlights.

The i20 N Line will have the same overall layout and look as the standard i20, but it will have N Line-specific features including contrast red stitching, a leather N shift gear lever, sport seats, and a special N steering wheel.

The existing 1.0-litre Turbo GDi engine might be used to power the i20 N Line. 118bhp and 172Nm of torque are expected to remain same. The six-speed iMT gearbox and the seven-speed DCT unit would be available as transmission options. However, for a more spirited and involved driving experience, Hyundai may tweak the suspension setup and throttle responsiveness.

The i20 N Line is expected to ask for a premium of Rs 1-1.5 lakh over the regular i20. Also, Hyundai has hinted at other N Line models for the Indian Market.
